About us

Who We Are

Morgan Hunt is a multi-award-winning recruitment agency with over 150 consultants across London, Birmingham, Manchester and Glasgow. We provide specialist recruitment services to over 2,000 clients.

Founded in 1994, we’ve become renowned for connecting talented candidates and brilliant organisations within the charity, education, finance, government, housing, professional services, property & construction, social care & health and technology sectors.

What make us different?

Our size is our strength. We’re small enough to care but big enough to make an impact. Genuine passion and enthusiasm for what we do, combined with a deep understanding of our sectors and our ability to respond and adapt swiftly to clients’ needs is what makes us unique.

Our success is our people. We pride ourselves on our commitment to our most important assets – our people – through recognition and rewards. We take care of them so that they can take care of you.

Our core values underpin everything we do and are reflected by our people.Respect, determination, teamwork, integrity, understanding and fun are central to how we work with each other and our clients and candidates. Our consultants take the time to understand your needs and are dedicated to guiding and supporting you through the recruitment process.

Our relationships set us apart. We work closely with some of the largest organisations in further education, housing, social care, charity and more. Our clients trust us with exciting and often exclusive roles, so you can be confident that you’ll find an opportunity that matches your skill and ambition.

Our Vision

We have ambitious aims for the future. Our goal is to grow significantly over the next 5 years and to do so we need the right people. So we are on the search for experienced self-starters who are driven, passionate and curious.

In the last 12 months we have invested heavily in state-of-the-art recruitment technology, a powerful job search website and a new, refreshed brand identity. These tools are there to support our consultants to provide the best possible service to our customers.

The recruitment industry is often stigmatised, so our vision is to transform the perception of recruitment. This is no small challenge, but a worthwhile one that drives us to do our best every day.

Our Story

Morgan Hunt is the vision of brothers Rupert and Stephen Fordham, founded over 25 years ago as a small city headhunting firm. As a result, family values are in our DNA – and that feeds through into our company culture, and the way we treat our employees, candidates and clients.

In 2001 the company expanded into the public sector for the first time – placing temporary workers into housing associations. This triggered a period of sustained growth within the sector, and ultimately led to the remarkable achievement of winning Best Public Sector Recruitment Agency in four out of five years from 2011 to 2016.

Following this success, we extended our offering to private businesses and public organisations in the education, finance, technology, property and professional services sectors. And we’re now proud to be a specialist multi-sector, multi-service recruitment business with clients and dedicated teams in every corner of the UK.
