Suzanne Penny

Suzanne Penny is a Learning & Development Consultant and Career Coach, with extensive experience providing support to individuals and organisations through redundancy. In addition to 1-2-1 coaching, Suzanne combines expert facilitation and group coaching, to bring people together who may be at a career crossroads or job searching. Suzanne is a firm believer that searching for a job doesn't have to be lonely and soul destroying, and offers interactive, small group training and coaching on change and resilience, career clarity and confidence and all aspects of modern job search techniques to navigate the challenging job market. Her background includes over 15 years’ experience in the recruitment sector as a Learning and Development Manager and in-house and agency recruiter. In addition, having worked with market leading outplacement organisations, Suzanne offers outplacement and career development training to organisations. Having been through redundancy twice herself and been out of work as a sole breadwinner, she is extremely passionate about using her skills and expertise in supporting others at this difficult time.

Heather Aust

Heather qualified as an employment law specialist in 2008 and developed her career in Manchester at a top 100 UK law firm as part of a Legal 500 Tier 1 team. She joined CG Professional as Partner in November 2020.

Providing support to clients across wide ranging industries, Heather is truly part of the client’s internal team advising on day-to-day HR workplace issues and larger restructure and litigious matters. Heather builds great trusted relationships with those she advises.

Understanding the importance of having relevant and up to date sector knowledge, Heather provides practical and commercial solutions for her clients which have spanned retail, hospitality, manufacturing, construction and insurance sectors to name a few.

Significant experience in drafting, amending and negotiating contractual documentation and policies is a given. Heather’s track record in achieving results in the Employment Tribunal setting is impressive and reassuring, guiding clients through the process from start to finish with her personable style.

Heather relishes delivering interactive and engaging training and legal seminars and is credited for her public speaking. Over the years Heather has also developed knowledge in business immigration matters; complementing her employment practice.

Recently Heather has focused on undertaking high value project work, notably involving outsourcing and restructuring, where the focus has been on employee relations, TUPE compliance and managing redundancies. Heather has supported her clients through sensitive insolvency processes and out of the other side which is testament to her position as trusted legal advisor.
