Summary
Are you an experienced Repairs Manager looking for a new opportunity? Join our dynamic Property Services team and take on a key role in overseeing and coordinating repair and maintenance activities across a diverse property portfolio.
As a Repairs Manager, you will assume responsibility for all repair and maintenance operations across various property tenures, ensuring timely and efficient completion in line with established standards and regulatory requirements. Working closely with the Customer Contact Centre, you will provide technical expertise and act as a lead escalation point for contractor management and commercial meetings.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate all repair and maintenance activities across the property portfolio.
- Work collaboratively with the Customer Contact Centre to ensure timely completion of repairs.
- Act as a lead escalation point for contractor management and commercial meetings.
- Ensure strict adherence to contractor codes of conduct and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Lead on quality assurance, including site visits and post-inspections.
- Manage all repair-related complaints from inception to resolution.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations and CDM requirements.
- Provide regular reports on contractor performance, invoice processing, and customer satisfaction.
- Line manage the Repairs and Voids Property Inspector and Repairs & Invoice Administrator.
- Support the development and training of staff in repair processes.
About you
- Proven experience in repairs, voids, and asset management.
- Background in a building/construction environment with knowledge of relevant regulations.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Intermediate level minimum).
- Commitment to customer service excellence.
Desirable:
- HND or equivalent qualification in construction or building studies.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Knowledge of construction techniques and building standards.
- Experience with NHF Schedule of Rates (SORs).
- Up-to-date knowledge of Health & Safety regulations in construction.
