With an ambitious five-year strategy and a powerful mission to improve lives and find a cure for arthritis, this charity is now looking for a Senior Data Operations Officer to join its Digital and Data Development team.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to support the charity's data operations during a time of significant digital transformation. The Senior Data Operations Officer will play a key role in managing and supporting the charity's existing CRM systems (Access Charity CRM and Microsoft Dynamics 365), while also contributing to the development of future systems and data strategies.
You'll work alongside colleagues across the organisation, supporting their daily use of the CRM and helping shape how data is captured, managed, and used to drive impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day management of Access Charity CRM (formerly thankQ), including licence and user permissions, training, imports/exports, and system maintenance.
- Act as a subject matter expert for Microsoft Dynamics 365, supporting the Services team and ensuring user requirements are met.
- Support the planning and roll-out of a new CRM system, including helping design a Super User structure and gathering stakeholder requirements.
- Manage and triage support tickets via the service desk platform and respond to users within agreed SLAs.
- Develop and maintain user training materials, including for the Services Database Solution (Dynamics 365).
- Work collaboratively with the Data Integration Specialist and CRM Business Analyst to improve data processes and troubleshoot integration issues.
- Promote and drive high data quality standards across the organisation, including developing SOPs and supporting a wider data quality programme.
About You
Essential experience and knowledge:
- Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within the charity or non-profit sector.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Proficiency in SQL (SQL Server Management Studio) and experience querying and selecting data.
- Familiarity with GDPR and data protection best practices.
Skills and attributes:
- A natural problem-solver with excellent attention to detail.
- Confident working independently and as part of a team.
- Able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experienced in delivering training and supporting users.
- Strong IT skills including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
Desirable:
- Experience with Access Charity CRM (thankQ).
- Understanding of charity sector processes (e.g. regular giving, events, volunteering).
- Experience working with a Business Analyst to gather CRM requirements.

This an initial 18-month contract, with potential to be extended or made permanent. Paying £41,000-£41,500 per annum with strong benefits including 34 days holiday including bank holidays which grows with service and ability to purchase up to 5 days, 10% pension, life assurance, health and wellbeing support etc.
