An 'Outstanding' Secondary School in the heart of East London is seeking a Maths Teacher / Maths ECT for a September 2025 start. This is a permanent, full-time position.



The Head Teacher is looking for an ambitious and dedicated Maths Teacher / Maths ECT eager to contribute to an expanding Maths Department. The school is renowned for its supportive leadership team, impressive Progress 8 results, and commitment to innovative teaching practices.

🖊️ Job Title - Maths Teacher / Maths ECT

📍 Location - East London

⏳ Start Date - September 2025

💰 Salary - MPS1-UPS3 (£39,571 - £55,135) + TLR (depending on experience)

📅 Contract Type - Full-Time & Permanent

🔹 Inspire and motivate students through engaging Maths lessons

🔹 Work alongside a team of experienced and passionate Maths Teachers

🔹 Opportunities for career progression, including KS3 Coordinator or Pastoral Responsibilities

🔹 ECTs receive comprehensive support, including a 1:1 mentor and tailored induction program

Person Specification

✔ Must hold UK QTS or be in the process of gaining it

✔ Strong academic background - Degree, A Levels, and GCSEs

✔ Ability to meet the 8 Teaching Standards at a 'Good' or 'Outstanding' level

✔ A team player who thrives in a collaborative teaching environment

✔ Open to feedback and dedicated to professional growth
