Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of individuals with sensory impairments and additional needs? We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Multi-Sensory Support Worker to join our team in East London.

About the Role:

As a Multi-Sensory Support Worker, you will provide tailored support to individuals with visual, hearing, and other sensory impairments, ensuring they have access to meaningful activities, communication support, and an inclusive environment. You will work closely with a team of professionals to enhance independence and quality of life for those in your care.

Key Responsibilities:

✔ Provide one-on-one and group support to individuals with multi-sensory impairments
✔ Assist with communication needs, including the use of sign language, braille, and assistive technology
✔ Develop and implement sensory-based activities to promote engagement and learning
✔ Offer personal care support, ensuring dignity and respect at all times
✔ Work closely with families, therapists, and other professionals to create individualised support plans
✔ Promote independence and well-being in a safe and supportive environment

What We're Looking For:

Experience working with individuals with sensory impairments and additional needs (preferred but not essential)
Knowledge of Makaton, BSL, Braille, or assistive communication tools (desirable)
A caring, patient, and adaptable approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Willingness to undergo training and development
