Role Overview:

We are looking for a knowledgeable and passionate Business Lecturer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons in business theory, practice, and professional development, ensuring that students acquire the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in the business world. Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons covering various business topics such as management, marketing, economics, finance, and entrepreneurship.
  • Support students in their academic journey and professional development, providing guidance and feedback to help them succeed.
  • Develop and update course materials and resources to enhance learning experiences and outcomes.
  • Monitor and track student progress, providing constructive feedback and additional support where necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and assessments.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and other departments to ensure a cohesive approach to student support and development.
  • Ensure all safeguarding, health, and safety policies are followed.

Key Requirements:

  • A relevant teaching qualification (e.g., Cert Ed, PGCE, or equivalent) or willingness to work towards one.
  • A degree in Business, Business Management, or a related field.
  • Experience in teaching or delivering business education, ideally within a further education or higher education setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students.
  • Knowledge of current business trends, practices, and developments.
  • A commitment to student success and an ability to adapt teaching methods to diverse learning needs.
  • Good organisational and time-management skills.
