Role Overview:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Sports Lecturer to join our team. This role will involve teaching and supporting students in the field of sports, helping them develop both practical and theoretical knowledge in various aspects of sport, fitness, and physical education. Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons in sports theory, fitness, and practical sport sessions.
• Support students in achieving their qualifications and developing their skills for further education or employment.
• Provide constructive feedback and track student progress, offering support as needed.
• Develop and update course materials and resources to enhance student learning and engagement.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and assessment.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and other departments to support student development.
• Ensure all health, safety, and safeguarding policies are adhered to.

Key Requirements:

• A relevant teaching qualification (e.g., Cert Ed, PGCE, or equivalent) or willingness to work towards one.
• A strong background in sports, physical education, or a related field.
• Previous experience in teaching or working with students in a sports-related context.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and engage students.
• A commitment to providing excellent support to students and helping them achieve their goals.
• Good organisational and time-management skills.
