Head of IT

Morgan Hunt are working with a professional governing body in Edinburgh to recruit an IT manager on a 6 month FTC, with the possibility of a permanent role after those 6 months.


You will be responsible for 8 members of the IT team, as well as the transformation team. The role expects you to be responsible for interpreting the organisations current IT strategy, lead their cyber security process, lead their innovation and efficiency, and ensure the transformation programme they are currently working on is smoothly delivered.


Essential skills:

• Deliver a long-term IT and digital strategy for the LSS which addresses future use of applications, infrastructure, communication technology, video conferencing, system integration, hosted platforms
• Working with the Digital Transformation Programme Manager to ensure the transition of transformative projects to BAU runs smoothly
• Interpret the business strategy and deliverables of the Society and deliver an IT Strategy to meet the company's plans
• Be the IT team lead in Cyber Security
• Be a leading part of the IT Programme / Project Management methodologies and tools to deliver business solutions
• Deliver and support all aspects of IT, including business systems, on-premise infrastructure, cloud applications and infrastructure, cyber security and learning and development
