Revenues Team Leader

Are you a Revenues Team Leader looking for work in the West Midlands or remotely from home?

Morgan Hunt's Public Sector and Government client based in the West Midlands is looking to recruit a Revenues Team Leader to oversee and lead a team of 20 staff who are responsible for all aspects of Council Tax and Business Rates administration.

Ideally, the successful candidate will have the ability to:

- Proficiently use the Academy (Capita) Revenues and Benefits System
- Lead a team of Revenues Officers responsible for administering the Billing, Collection and Recovery of Council Tax and Non-Domestic Rates (NNDR)
- Carry out appraisals and one to ones
- Allocate work and monitor individual performance
- Ensure liabilities for Council Tax are processed, including discounts and exemptions
- Handle correspondence and contacts from customers relating to Council Tax
- Contact customers to obtain information to enable accurate billing of Council Tax
- Deal with more complex queries from customers relating to their Council Tax
- Assist the Revenues Manager in the drafting of complaint responses
- Communicate effectively with customers and staff
