As a Music Lecturer, you will be required to deliver high-quality lessons in both practical and theoretical aspects of music, while encouraging students to explore and develop their talents.

Key Duties:

• Deliver engaging and high-quality music lessons that cater to a diverse range of students.
• Teach across various music disciplines, including theory, performance, composition and technology.
• Monitor, assess and provide constructive feedback to students to enhance their academic and personal growth.
• Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to ensure student success.
• Contribute to the college's wider musical culture and extracurricular activities.
• Work with colleagues to enhance the overall learning experience and aid the growth of the music department.

Requirements:

• A UK-recognised teaching qualification (such as PGCE, CertEd, or equivalent).
• A degree in Music or a related field (essential).
• Experience in teaching music at a further education and training level (preferred).
• Proficiency in practical and theoretical aspects of music.
• A passion for music and education, with a strong ability to engage and inspire students.
• An enhanced DBS check on the update service.
