Job Role: A-Level Science Lecturer

About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated A-Level Science Lecturer to join our team on a temporary basis. In this role, you will deliver high-quality teaching to A-Level Science students, supporting them in achieving their academic potential and preparing them for their future studies or careers in the sciences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and high-quality teaching in A-Level Science to students of varying abilities.
• Plan, prepare, and assess lesson plans, assignments, and practical experiments that align with A-Level curriculum requirements.
• Provide academic and pastoral support to students, helping them stay motivated and reach their academic goals.
• Contribute to the development and review of course materials, ensuring alignment with the latest academic standards and scientific advancements.
• Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment that encourages student participation and engagement.

Essential Requirements:

• A degree in Science or a related field (or equivalent).
• Teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, CertEd) or a commitment to obtaining one.
• Experience teaching A-Level Science, preferably within further education.
• Strong knowledge of A-Level science subjects (Biology, Chemistry, Physics).
• Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
