Maintenance operative

The Maintenance operative plays a key role in maintaining the school environment to ensure it meets the high standards expected by pupils, staff, and visitors. This includes repairs, decoration, porterage, security, and general maintenance of buildings and furniture.

Working Hours

The post is offered 40 hours per week to be worked during the School opening hours of 7.00am to 8.00pm (during Term Time) and 08.00am to 5.00pm (school holidays). The Premises Assistants work on a rota-based system and the shifts offered for this post are: Term Time:

• 7.00am to 3.00pm
• 12.00pm to 8.00pm School Holidays:
• 8.00am to 4.00pm
• 9.00am to 5.00pm The shifts rotate on a weekly basis.
