Job Title: Careers Advisor

We are looking for an experienced and qualified (L6) Careers Advisor to join our client's CEIAG team and provide expert career guidance and support to local schools and colleges. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people and support their career development.

Key Responsibilities of a Careers Advisor:

• Delivering 1-2-1 impartial careers advice and guidance to students
• Creating and delivering group activities and presentations to enhance career exploration
• Supporting young people to make a smooth transition into post-16 learning
• Providing targeted support to those at risk of becoming NEET (Not in Education, Employment or Training)
• Offering specialised support to young people with SEND and other vulnerable groups
• Contributing to the CEIAG programmes in schools and colleges

Requirements for the Careers Advisor:

• Location: Newham
• Days: 1-2 days per week
• Competitive Rates
• Qualifications: Qualification in Careers Guidance (QCG), Diploma in Careers Guidance (Parts 1 & 2), or an equivalent professional qualification to a minimum of Level 6
• Enhanced Child and Adult DBS on the Update Service is required
