Our client
Morgan Hunt is working with an organisation who provide specialise housing and support services to vulnerable people including asylum seekers, ex-offenders, expectant and new mums, people with mental health issues, recovering addicts, survivors of domestic abuse, those who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless and young people leaving care.
We are looking to recruit a Tenancy Sustainment Officer supporting those at risk of experiencing homelessness in Bury. This a temporary ongoing contract, working Monday - Friday between the hours of 8am and 8pm on a rota basis.
The role - Tenancy Sustainment Officer
As a Tenancy Sustainment Officer, you are responsible for.
- Understanding the complex needs of formerly homeless tenants, now occupying temporary/ Supported Exempt Accommodation.
- Maintaining a consistently high level of customer service that enhances the quality of life for tenants by providing safe, secure, and attractive environments, creating sustainable communities.
- Delivering the housing management functions of the business
- Rent collection and arrears management.
- Void management including allocation and sign ups.
- Health and safety / compliance management
The candidate
A successful Tenancy Sustainment Officer will have experience in working with vulnerable clients and supporting people to maintain a tenancy through delivery of intensive housing management functions and customer service. Due to the nature of the role an Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months or on the update service is essential.
