Senior Banner Developer

Morgan Hunt are currently recruiting for a well established Higher Education organisation, who require a Senior Developer on a permanent basis

Role Responsibilities

• Provide second-line support within the Student Administration Systems team
• Contribute to processes that enhance the student experience and university services
• Develop scalable database and web-based solutions
• Ensure accessibility across multiple devices and align with university branding
• Perform testing, configuration management, and maintain student records integrations
• Support daily operations and assist with data processing tasks
• Deliver system enhancements within structured IT governance
• Follow best practices in documentation, testing, and version control (e.g., Azure DevOps, Git)

Role Requirements

• Strong expertise in SQL or Oracle PL/SQL, including advanced query writing
• Experience developing and maintaining SQL or PL/SQL-based applications
• Proficient in JavaScript development and API design
• Experience working with cloud or SaaS-based solutions
• Ability to convert T-SQL to JavaScript
• Familiarity with Ellucian Banner or Data Connect (preferred)
• Higher Education experience desirable

• Permanent
• London based
• Hybrid Working- attend the office once every 2 weeks
• £49,000 per year
