English Lecturer

Job Advert: English Lecturer - Full-Time (5 Days a Week)

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate English Lecturer to join our team at a well-established college in Bromley. This is a full-time position (5 days per week, 8 hours per day) with a competitive pay rate of up to £40 per hour.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality English lessons at GCSE and Functional skills.
• Support and engage students to achieve their academic potential.
• Plan, prepare, and assess work in line with curriculum requirements.
• Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners.
• Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements:

• Proven experience within the education sector.
• Strong subject knowledge and the ability to teach Functional skills and GCSE English.
• A recognised teaching qualification is preferred.
• A commitment to student success and progression.
• Ability to pass a DBS check upon request.
