  Morgan Hunt's Public Sector and Government client based in South London, is looking to recruit a Temporary Accommodation Officer to provide support throughout a busy period.

  This assignment has been deemed inside of IR35.

  We are seeking a proactive and experienced Temporary Accommodation Officer to join our housing team. The role involves providing support and guidance to residents in temporary accommodation, empowering them to move into sustainable, long-term housing solutions.
  
  Ideally, the successful candidate will have the ability to:

  • Develop personalized housing pathways for clients, addressing barriers to securing permanent accommodation, including financial challenges and tenancy readiness.
  • Collaborate with landlords, housing providers, and support agencies to secure suitable move-on accommodation and maintain a network of resources.
  • Work closely with residents in temporary accommodations, offering tailored advice on housing options and welfare benefits to facilitate move-on plans.
  • Ensure the effective management of temporary accommodation, conducting inspections and addressing any issues related to suitability or tenancy agreements.
  • Maintain accurate records in line with housing policies and legislation, including the Homelessness Reduction Act 2017 and Housing Act 1996.
