English Lecturer

A leading environmental specialist college in Enfield is looking for an enthusiastic English Lecturer to join their team on an hourly paid basis, supporting learners to succeed in their English studies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in GCSE English and Functional Skills to a diverse range of students.
• Support and motivate learners to achieve their goals, tailoring your approach to meet individual needs.
• Use creative and innovative teaching methods to engage students and improve outcomes.
• Monitor and assess learner progress, providing constructive feedback to drive their success.
• Contribute to the college's mission of creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

What We're Looking For:

• A Level 3 qualification (or higher) in English or a related field.
• Experience teaching GCSE and/or Functional Skills English in an educational setting.
• A passion for delivering high-quality teaching and supporting students to succeed.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to inspire and engage learners.
• A teaching qualification (or a willingness to work towards one).

Pay & Benefits:

• Hourly pay: £20 - £35 per hour (dependent on qualifications and experience).
