Media and Communications manager
Morgan Hunt is currently working with a Woman's rights Charity based in Camden In search for an Interim Media and Communications manager!
The main duties include creating informative and engaging content, press releases, articles, and media opportunities to share our charity's brand, cause and services. You will be an excellent communicator with first-rate presentation skills and be highly experienced in running media and social media campaigns.
Role: Interim Media and Communications manager
Contract: 6-month Temporary Contract
Pay: Up to £213 P/DAY Umbrella
Location: 2 days-a-week from office in Camden
Key Responsibilities of the new Interim Media and Communications manager:
- Develop and implement effective communication strategies that build stakeholder and supporter loyalty
- Lead the media and communications team including the line management of Solace's communication officers
- Work closely with the fundraising team to deliver effective digital fundraising campaigns, and collateral for wider income generation.
- Oversee the delivery and development of our internal communications
- Plan and manage the design, content, and production of all marketing materials
Previous experience of the new Interim Media and Communications manager:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role.
- Knowledge of communication practices and techniques including creating and evaluating digital marketing content.
- Experience of copywriting and delivering website content.
- Strong presentation skills, able to prepare, interpret and present complex information to a wide variety of stakeholders.
