We are excited to partner with a leading firm in Central London to recruit an Audit Senior. As an Audit Senior, you will be pivotal in overseeing audits, leading teams, and providing strategic insights for high-profile clients, while continuing your professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage audits for a varied portfolio of clients, including large corporations and SMEs, from planning through to completion.
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff, providing guidance and training throughout the audit process.
  • Review and prepare financial statements in accordance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Manage client relationships, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services and offering strategic advice.
  • Identify and resolve complex audit issues, ensuring compliance with all relevant accounting and auditing standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments to deliver integrated services, including tax and advisory.
  • Assist in managing the firm's audit methodology, ensuring audits are conducted efficiently and within budget.
  • Support the preparation of reports and presentations for senior management and clients.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • ACA/ACCA qualified with significant experience in auditing (ideally at least 3-4 years).
  • Strong knowledge of auditing and accounting principles, with experience leading audits from start to finish.
  • Proven ability to manage and develop a team of auditors.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Detail-oriented, with a focus on delivering high-quality results under pressure.
  • Experience in financial statement preparation and strong technical knowledge of IFRS/UK GAAP.
  • Ability to identify opportunities for added value and business growth.
