Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive asset management strategy that aligns with the organisation's business plan and objectives.
• Identify opportunities to optimise the use of assets, including refurbishment, disposal, and redevelopment.
• Ensure compliance with statutory obligations, including health and safety regulations, building standards, and energy efficiency requirements.
• Manage risk assessments and safety inspections, addressing any identified issues promptly.
• Lead on asset management projects, including planned maintenance, major works, and regeneration schemes.
• Deliver an effective property management strategy, focusing on sustainability, safety, and tenant satisfaction.

About you

• Proven experience in asset management within the social housing or property sector.
• In-depth knowledge of housing regulations, compliance, and building safety.
• Strong financial and budget management skills.
• Experience in leading projects and managing multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a strategic mindset.
• Relevant qualifications, such as RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) membership, or equivalent experience.
