About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Data Engineer with specialised expertise in Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Fabric to join our growing team. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the data infrastructure of a dynamic organisation.



Key Responsibilities:

• Data Pipeline Development: Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines and ETL processes using Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, and other Azure data services.
• Data Integration: Integrate data from various sources, ensuring data consistency, quality, and integrity. Utilise tools such as Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL Database, and other data storage solutions.
• Data Modeling: Design and implement data models, schemas, and databases that support business intelligence and analytics requirements.
• Performance Optimisation: Monitor and optimise the performance of data pipelines and storage systems to ensure efficient and timely data processing.
• Collaboration: Work closely with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into technical solutions.
• Data Security and Governance: Implement best practices for data security, privacy, and governance. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Documentation: Maintain clear and detailed documentation of data processes, architectures, and technical solutions.
• Innovation: Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in data engineering, cloud computing, and Azure services. Propose and implement improvements to existing systems and processes.
