Humanities Lecturers with QTS - Sociology / Psychology

Start date: August/September 2024
Salary: £35,000 - £50,000 (inclusive of London weighting)
Morgan Hunt is working with numerous sixth forms across the London area and we are looking for exceptional Humanities Lecturers with a QTS who are looking for a new opportunity in September 2024. The roles are within the subject specialisms of Sociology and/or Psychology.
All applicants for these Humanities Lecturing positions must have:
Degree in a Humanities subject - focusing and specialised in the fields of Sociology and/or Psychology
A full UK recognised teaching qualification (QTS)
Recent experience of teaching a particular Humanities subject in a 16-19 year old environment
A valid, fully Enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply for one.

Morgan Hunt are working with an community focussed Training Provider who are recruiting for an ICT and Functional Skills Maths Tutor. This is a 12 month fixed term contract with a possibility for extension. The role will involve travelling across the clients 2 sites near Vauxhall and Greenwich delivering in person. The role will involve teaching post 16 and adult learners ICT and Functional Skills Maths up to Level 2. The salary for this role is paying between £27,000-£29,000.
The ICT and Functional Skills Maths Tutor will be responsible for:
creating lesson plans and schemes of work
delivering ICT and Functional Skills Maths up to Level 2
tracking, monitoring and reporting on learner progress with wider curriculum team
providing IAG to learners
completing necessary documentation required by the organisation for awarding bodies and other external organisations
preparing for EQA visits
conducting reviews with the quality team
The ICT and Functional Skills Maths Tutor will need to have:
a Level 5 teaching qualification
experience of teaching ICT and Functional Skills Maths Level 2 to post 16 and adult learners
classroom management experience
a minimum of grade C in English and Maths or equivalent
the ability to travel across clients sites
