Role: Curriculum Leader - Art and Design

Job Type: Permanent

Pay rate: £41,566 per annum

Hours: Full time

Location: Newcastle College

Key responsibilities:

• As Curriculum Leader, you will lead and manage a team of lecturers and specialist technicians, oversee large resources and support staff, and manage a comprehensive suite of courses across multiple disciplines.
• You will ensure the continued excellence of our curriculum delivery across Further, Higher, and Adult Education.
• You will drive and maintain high standards of teaching and learning, foster a collaborative and innovative environment, and monitor and enhance curriculum quality and effectiveness.
• You will engage with industry professionals and stakeholders to enrich the curriculum and support the professional development of staff members.

Skills & experience

• Experienced leader with strong leadership and management skills, a background in curriculum development and team management, and a passion for music and performing arts education.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
