Job description

  • Sales Ledger Admin

    Morgan Hunt is working with a College in Cambridgeshire who are looking at recruiting a Sales Ledger Admin. This is a 3 month contract role paying up to £17 p/hour (inc holiday pay) and will require 5 days p/week in the office.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assist students with Bus Pass queries and issue vouchers for successful bursary applications.
    • Liaise with the Bursary team regarding financial assistance requests.
    • Manage the Bus Pass email inbox and input student information into Finance Software.
    • Maintain confidentiality and comply with legal guidelines like GDPR.
    • Resolve queries via telephone, email, and face-to-face interactions.

    Previous Skills and Experience:

    • Experience with computerised accounting systems and database software.
    • Teamwork experience in a finance department.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for all levels.
    • Strong self-management skills for independent and teamwork, using initiative, being flexible and adaptable.
    • Ability to handle routine tasks with minimal supervision and communicate issues promptly.
