Job description
We have a current opportunity for a Lecturer in Animation to join a college on an interim basis based in Chelmsford
It is a requirement that you have core skills and understanding of a range of digital and analogue approaches to Animation Production. This would include core knowledge of 2D drawn techniques and a knowledge of one or more of the following software packages Moho; Animate; Adobe Suite - After Effects, Photoshop, Animate etc. It would also be a benefit if you have some knowledge of other animation software such as Blender, Maya, Cinema 4D, etc.
You will work closely with other academic staff, including the Course Leader to deliver on Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3 UAL programmes. Your main responsibility will be preparation, teaching, assessment, student support and administration of practice-based workshops, seminars and lectures as part of the Creative Industries Team.
