Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Architectural Technologist to join our clients team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a passion for delivering high-standard architectural solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed technical drawings and specifications for a variety of projects, ensuring compliance with building regulations and standards.
  • Collaborate with architects, clients, and contractors to develop practical and innovative design solutions.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure that work is carried out according to design specifications and quality standards.
  • Provide technical support and guidance throughout the project lifecycle, from initial concept to completion.
  • Assist in the preparation of planning applications and building warrant submissions.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of building materials, construction techniques, and industry trends.
  • Work closely with the project team to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Degree or diploma in Architectural Technology or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in an architectural technologist role.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.) and other relevant design tools.
  • Strong understanding of building regulations, codes, and standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with residential and commercial projects is an advantage.
